The innovative bearings SPIN around the center pin as your pet runs, unlike annoying squeaky wheels on the market that have an axle that the wheel rotates around creating friction and noise.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Cleaning:</strong>&nbsp;Wipe down the wheel with a non-toxic disinfectant wipe daily if you wish. Wash thoroughly at least once per week by disassembling the wheel and cleaning with warm soapy water, rinsing, and allowing to air dry completely. Wheel is also dishwasher safe, top rack only. Do not submerge the back plate where the metal bearings are held, it is recommended to simply wipe the plate down without letting water come in contact with the bearings.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Assembly Instructions</strong>:&nbsp;Remove the standard running track on your Silent Runner wheel. It is easiest to place wheel face-up on a table, insert hand into wheel to hold back plate down, and pull front plate up. Once disassembled, begin by inserting the corner of the Sandy Track into the molded edges of the black back plate for the Silent Runner Wheel. Once the corner edge is pushed in, begin working the sandy track all the way around the wheel into the groove. Once completely in the groove, push the clear connector into place connecting both ends of the track. Set the front plate on the sandy track, and starting with the side away from the connector, work one small section of the sandy track into the front plate groove. Once a small section of the track is in the groove, apply pressure (squeeze down) all the way around the wheel until the track is in place. You may need to push the last section near the clear connector in with your fingers. Set the wheel down on a table and apply pressure all the way around the wheel to secure the track in place.</p>
