Why we need to use salt ?

Benefits of Using Salt in Fish Farming:

• Salt is commonly applied every day in fish farms to support the health and care of the fish.
  
• Benefits include:
    - Preventing the growth of parasites and bacteria
    - Balancing the osmotic pressure of fish
• Salt is applied when isolating fish and when treating sick fish.

Recommended Salt Concentrations:

• For separating fish: add 0.3% salt
  
• For treating sick fish: use 0.5% or 0.6% salt

How to Measure Salt Levels:
Use a salt tester:
  - Turn on the device
  - Insert the tester into the tank
  - Wait for the indicator to stop flashing
  - Read the salt concentration result

Example Measurement:

• A sample reading shows a salt concentration of 0.4%
  
• This measured level can be used when marinating the fish
